This week was a week of celebration for the Seniors of the Volleyball, Fall Cheer and Football teams of the Lincoln-King Eagles! On Tuesday, our Girl's Volleyball Team soared high and competed against Henry Ford Academy. The game concluded with a celebration of the senior girls Adryana Burton, Winter Green, Dominique Lewis, Angel Stewart and Dennise Thornton who led the way, ushering a new era for Lincoln-King athletics competing on the school's brand new gym floor. Thursday night, the Eagles football team competed against Memphis high school celebrating a historic season led by seniors Damari Dickerson, Tayshawn Mitchell, Dennis Reed, Tarrace Turnbow and J'Mani Wallace - winning Lincoln-King's first game and home game, first homecoming and first Senior Night in school history coming away with the 38-6 victory. At halftime, the Fall Cheer team gave another great performance at midfield led by seniors Damyah Atkins, Ariel Peterson and Jamillah Taylor! Thank you to all of the seniors of the fall season for your dedication and commitment to Lincoln-King Athletics!
